Jenny Castillo, M.S, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Jenny Castillo is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a strong background in clinical mental health counseling. Holding a Masters of Science in Psychology and Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jenny is well-equipped to provide effective counseling services.

With a Level 1 method Gottman Couples Counseling Certification, Jenny specializes in working with couples to improve their relationships and communication. She is a proud member of the Suncoast Mental Health Counselor Association and the American Counseling Association, actively engaging in professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and practices in the field.

Jenny has extensive experience providing counseling to individuals of all ages, including children, adults, couples and families. She has successfully worked with clients dealing with trauma, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, and disorders of childhood. Through her training in various evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Processing Therapy (TF-CPT), Behavior Modification, Compassion and Mindfulness-Based modalities, Jenny tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

As a therapist, Jenny is known for her empathic and compassionate nature. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients, allowing them to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to navigate life's challenges and achieve their personal goals.
